Fleet · CitabriaEverything about the Citabria says "performance" and "Aerobatics." Even the name is "Airbatic" spelled backwards.
First introduced by Champion Aircraft Corporation in 1964, the Citabria was the only North American aircraft rated for aerobatics. With an ability for Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL), Citabrias have been used for bush flying, agriculture, and leisure. The Citabria 7KCAB, also known as the Citabria "B Package," was introduced in 1968. Capable of inverted flight, it is perfect for aerobatics. With two front wheels and one rear wheel for landing gear, the Citabria is a tail dragger airplane, used by Future Air at our Holland Landing location for advanced flight training and aerobatics.
