A PPL Ground School is starting this month in Collingwood. The introductory meeting will be held on November 5, 2008 at the Collingwood Airport Terminal from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please be sure to attend because the students will be selecting the day or days of the week on which classes will be held.
At this meeting, students will sign up for the course and order their course material.
The PPL Ground School includes the following topics:
1. Air regulations
2. Aerodynamics and Theory of Flight
3. Meteorology
4. Airframes, Engines and Aircraft Systems
5. Flight Instruments
6. Navigation
7. Flight Operations
8. Licensing and Medical requirements
9. Human Factors including Pilot Decision Making
