The Lake Simcoe Regional Airport has been working on improving the airport. To this end the airport is scheduled to close for improvements to the runway and ramp area starting Sept 12, 2010. We will be relocating our aircraft stationed there to our Midland and Collingwood Locations. If you have flights booked between Sept 12 and Oct 12 Please contact our offices to make alternative arrangements.

Future Air is pleased to announce that we now have the Lowrance AirMap 600C GPS available for purchase at our Simcoe and Collingwood offices.

The 600C GPS is a very cost effective unit that provides:

* 2.83/" (7.2 cm) diagonal 16-bit color TFT display
* 320V x 240H resolution
* Terrain Awareness, Jeppesen and Lowrance Obstructions databases, plus Safe Flight 21 airport taxiway map data
* Internal 16-parallel channel GPS+WAAS receiver and external RAA-3 Remote Amplifying Antenna

The AirMap® 600C features Terrain Awareness, Jeppesen®, Obstructions and Safe Flight 21 databases loaded on an MMC/SD card, MapCreate™ software, an MMC/SD card reader-writer, a cigarette plug power adapter, an advanced active remote antenna, a yoke-mount bracket, and a suction-cup car mount bracket.
