February 23, 2009 · New Rates As Of March 1 2009
Over the last year our costs have increased. We have tried to absorb these additional costs however we are no longer able to do so. Because of this we have found it necessary to modify our rates. In the process we are changing our pricing to incorporate the current price of fuel. This means that the real increase in rental rates is very modest and the initial Fuel Surcharge will be zero.
Effective March 1, 2009 the hourly rates will be as follows:
Basic Instruction........................................$60.00 per hour
Advanced Instruction.................................$65.00 per hour
Class 1 Instruction....................................$70.00 per hour
Private Instruction (own airplane)...........$70.00 per hour
Private Inst. Class 1 (own airplane).......$80.00 per hour
Cessna 172 Rental...................................$139.00 per hour
Cessna 172 Float Rental.........................$230.00 per hour
Cessna 172 Sightseeing Ride...............$230.00 per hour
Introduction to Flight Training..................$99.00
Fuel Surcharge..........................................as required
Solo Insurance Waiver..............................$10.00 per hour
Basic instruction includes Recreational, Private and Night while Advanced instruction includes Commercial, Float Rating, VFR Over-the-Top Rating, Instrument and Multi.
Class 1 instruction includes all instruction done by our Class 1 instructors.
Future Air will honour all existing contracts at their stated rates.
Our rates are still generally less than those charged by other comparable flight schools.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding these new rates, please feel free to address them with our staff.
